Horse Riding and Trekking
We can arrange a wide range of excursions for you depending on your experience levels. For the beginners, after an initial lesson, we head off on a gentle pony trek, or for the more experienced riders we can set off on exciting Cumbrian beach ride. Our expert guides and well-schooled horses will take you on pre-planned routes that can take you through the heart of the Lake District that can include a challenging ride across Morecambe bay sands to Chapel Island. All levels of riding experience can be catered for.
Routes will begin at the selected riding centre, typically a ride will take in the heart of the Lakes, such as Grizedale Forest, Coniston Valley and even up to the Langdales.
Alternatively, for the less experienced, or beginners, riding lessons can be arranged before you are ready to venture out on excursions.
